These Terms & Conditions govern the use of services provided by SAM TAXI TOURS, a private transportation and tour company based in Cabarete, Dominican Republic.

By making a booking with us — whether through WhatsApp, our website, or any other channel — you agree to these terms. We are committed to providing professional, safe, and reliable service to every client.

SAM TAXI TOURS offers the following services:

• ✈️ Airport transfers (POP, SDQ, STI, PUJ)
• 🚐 Private transportation across the North Coast
• 🗺️ Private tours and guided excursions
• 🏍️ Motocross rentals and car rentals
• 🪁 Kite school bookings
• 🏡 Airbnb reservation assistance

We primarily serve Cabarete, Puerto Plata, Sosúa, and surrounding areas, with long-distance transfers available island-wide.

Bookings can be made via WhatsApp, our website contact form, or any direct communication channel. All reservations are subject to availability and are confirmed only after we acknowledge your request.

To secure your booking, please provide accurate information including: pickup location, destination, date and time, number of passengers, and any special requests.

Providing incorrect information (e.g., wrong flight number, incorrect address) may result in delays or inability to complete the service, for which SAM TAXI TOURS cannot be held responsible.

Prices vary depending on the type of service, distance, number of passengers, and time of travel. All quoted prices are final and inclusive unless otherwise stated.

We accept the following payment methods:

• 💵 Cash (USD, EUR, or DOP)
• 📲 Bank transfer or mobile payment
• 💳 Other methods upon agreement

For certain services (e.g., multi-day tours or group bookings), a partial deposit may be required to confirm the reservation. This will be communicated clearly at the time of booking.

We understand that travel plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• ✅ Free cancellation if notified at least 24 hours in advance
• ⚠️ 50% charge if cancelled within 12–24 hours of service
• ❌ Full charge for cancellations within 12 hours or no-shows

No-shows: If a client does not appear at the agreed pickup location without prior notice, the full service fee may be charged.

Refunds, when applicable, will be processed through the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

For airport pickups, we monitor your flight status and adjust pickup time accordingly at no extra charge.

A standard waiting time of up to 60 minutes is included for airport transfers. After this period, additional waiting charges may apply.

For other pickups, a grace period of 15 minutes is included. We kindly ask that clients communicate any expected delays via WhatsApp as soon as possible.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, clients agree to:

• 📋 Provide accurate and complete booking information
• ⏰ Be ready at the agreed pickup location and time
• 🤝 Treat the driver and vehicle with respect
• 🚫 Refrain from smoking, excessive alcohol, or disruptive behavior in the vehicle
• ⚖️ Follow all local laws and safety guidelines
• 👶 Notify us in advance if traveling with children requiring car seats

SAM TAXI TOURS commits to:

• 🚐 Providing clean, well-maintained, and reliable vehicles
• 👨‍✈️ Employing professional, courteous, and experienced drivers
• ⏱️ Being punctual and communicating proactively about any changes
• 🔒 Ensuring passenger safety at all times
• 📱 Remaining reachable via WhatsApp throughout the service

SAM TAXI TOURS takes every reasonable precaution to ensure safe and timely service. However, we cannot be held liable for delays or service disruptions caused by:

• 🚦 Traffic congestion or road closures
• 🌧️ Adverse weather conditions
• 🛣️ Poor road conditions or unexpected detours
• ✈️ Flight delays or changes outside our control
• ⚠️ Third-party issues or force majeure events

SAM TAXI TOURS is not responsible for lost, forgotten, or damaged personal items left in the vehicle. Please check you have all your belongings before leaving.

Standard luggage (one suitcase + one carry-on per passenger) is included at no extra charge.

If you're traveling with oversized bags, sports equipment, or excess luggage, please inform us at the time of booking so we can arrange appropriate vehicle capacity. Additional charges may apply for excess or special items.

We understand plans change. Modifications to existing bookings (date, time, pickup location) can be requested via WhatsApp and are subject to availability.

Changes requested less than 12 hours before the scheduled service may involve additional charges depending on the nature of the modification.

SAM TAXI TOURS reserves the right to refuse or terminate service in the following situations:

• 🚫 Client is under the influence of substances posing a risk to safety
• ⚠️ Client behavior is threatening, abusive, or disrespectful toward the driver
• 🛑 Road or weather conditions make the trip unsafe
• 📋 Booking was made with false or misleading information

In such cases, refunds will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Your personal information is handled with care and in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

By using our services, you also agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic.

Any disputes arising from the use of SAM TAXI TOURS services will be subject to the jurisdiction of Dominican courts, without prejudice to any rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.

SAM TAXI TOURS may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, services, or legal requirements.

Any updates will be posted on this page with the revised date. Continued use of our services after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
